Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this highly collectible WWI era Mauser Model 1896 "Red Nine" Broomhandle semi-automatic pistol, chambered in the rare 9MM with a 5.5-inch barrel. This german semi automatic pistol is fitted with a nice set of iconic “Red 9” red-filled "9" marked grips.
This iconic pistol features a tangent rear sight and is confirmed to have all matching external numbers, a specialized "9mm Export" pattern follower, and the "GERMANY" import marking on the left side. It features the distinctive branded and red-filled "9" markings on the grips. The complete set includes the unmarked hardwood shoulder stock.
The overall condition is Fine, retaining most of its original blue finish & vibrant nitre blue parts. The pistol shows minor handling wear but overall is exceptional and very high condition. The bore is dull but has decent rifling. Mechanically excellent. A spectacular, complete, and fully functional german semi automatic artifact.
