Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this magnificent 1980 Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, Master Hand Engraved and signed by the historic Texas engraver, Weldon Bledsoe. Bledsoe is renowned for his work, having been a student of master Cole Agee, and his signed pieces are exceptionally rare and highly sought after.
This SAA features the desirable 5 1/2-inch barrel and a custom Antique Silver finish. The frame and barrel are covered in his incredible scroll engraving. This particular example is a extremely rare piece for Bledsoe, as most of his work features cattle brands, while this example showcases a beautiful, flowing floral scroll style. The firearm is signed by the artist with his iconic tiny "B" mark intertwined in the engraving on the right side of the frame.
It is fitted with premium Genuine Elephant Ivory Grips. The overall condition is pristine, showing very little signs of handling and remains unfired since the custom engraving work was completed. The bore is pristine, and the action is mechanically perfect. An outstanding addition to any advanced collection of engraved American revolvers.
