The visual profile of this SAA is breathtaking, featuring a vibrant factory color case-hardened frame that displays deep blues and purples. The barrel, cylinder, and grip frame retain their original deep factory blued finish. Adorning the grip frame is a set of custom genuine Elephant Ivory stocks featuring a inset silver Texas Rangers medallion on the left side and on the right side features a hand carved Steer Head expertly executed, providing a professional and historic aesthetic (the Ivory Carving is done so well that they were most certainly done by either Dennis Holland or Paul Persinger who were both the top tier ivory carvers in the business). Every roll-mark remains factory-sharp, including the one-line barrel address, the "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .357 MAGNUM" nomenclature, and the two-line patent dates on the frame.
This Colt is superb, presenting in as-new overall condition with virtually no signs of handling and remains consumer unfired, showing only the faintest specs of freckling around the trigger guard but very very minimal. The mechanical action is crisp with the traditional four clicks, and the bore is in factory-perfect condition. This investment-grade package is remarkably complete, featuring the original black and red factory box with a matching caliber marking.
