Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this Ultra Rare German-Made Cane Gun Pepperbox Revolver, chambered in .22 RF. Manufactured in the late 1800s to early 1900s, this folding trigger, 6-shot pepperbox design is a fascinating piece of pre-WWI Imperial German firearms history and is being sold as a highly desirable Curio & Relic (C&R).
This piece features a unique construction with an antler handle and a flip-out folding trigger. The revolver mechanism is clearly marked with pre-1912 Imperial German proofs: the Crown over “V” (denoting superior finish) and the Crown over “CP” (signifying final nitro proofing). All major components, including the handle, cylinder, and cylinder screw/pin, are matching and marked with the number #16.
The condition is superb for its age, showing some handling and imperfections. Most notable is a repaired crack in the antler handle, which is solid and tight, allowing the revolver to be pulled securely from the cane. The mechanism is fully functional and in very good working order, with excellent, un-pitted cylinder chamber bores. As a C&R firearm, a competent gunsmith inspection is strongly suggested prior to any firing. An outstanding addition to any advanced collection of antique novelty or concealed firearms.
