Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present The Rarest & ONLY Set In The WORLD—a Consecutive Serial Number Pair of 1997 Colt Custom Shop Single Action Army Sheriff's Model Prototypes. This extraordinary set (SA65252 & SA65253) is the only known set of factory engraved 2-inch prototype SAAs ever made and was formerly owned by famed Colt Executive John C. Keyosayian.
This custom prototype pair features the highly desirable 2-inch barrel and extremely rare Blackpowder (BP) style screw-in frame. The finishes are deliberately split: one pistol features Deluxe Royal Blue and CCH, while the other is finished in Bright Nickel. Both revolvers feature Factory Class "A" Standard Level Scroll Engraving and are fitted with rare factory genuine Elephant Ivory grips bearing special Colt 150th Anniversary medallions.
The set is 100% COMPLETE and fully documented. Both original maroon Colt boxes (with styrofoam inserts) bear the original Custom Shop yellow end labels marked "PROTOTYPE." The official Colt Archive Letter also confirms the "Custom Edition Prototype" status and shipment to Mr. Keyosayian. This is an irreplaceable, museum-quality set that is 100% New Old Stock (NOS) and unfired. An outstanding addition to any advanced Colt collection.
