Renowned as one of the finest side-by-side shotguns ever produced in America, this iconic 12 gauge platform features 28" ventilated-rib barrels choked Skeet 1 and Skeet 2. It represents a highly sought-after classic that holds immense appeal for collectors and fine gun purists alike.
This classic side-by-side showcases a deep factory blued finish across the steel frame, trigger guard, and barrel assembly. The receiver is clearly marked Skeet on the bottom floorplate and houses a single selective trigger system with a non-automatic safety. It is fitted with beautiful American walnut furniture, featuring a checkered pistol-grip stock, a broad beavertail forend, and front bead sight.
This auction includes the standalone Winchester Model 21 shotgun accompanied by an official factory letter confirming its original configuration. Showing light handling marks on the frame and stock, there is separation between the trigger guard and stock wood, as well as a chip/crack on the left side of the forend. It remains a fantastic, investment-grade classic vintage SxS.
