Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this SCARCE 1st Generation 1969 Colt Python revolver chambered in .357 Magnum. The 2.5-inch barrel configuration is highly desirable, representing the rarest and most sought-after length for the classic Python.
This Python features the short 2.5-inch vent-rib barrel and retains a stunning factory Royal Blue finish. It is fitted with the original factory walnut service stocks featuring gold Colt medallions. This is a complete collector package, including the original factory woodgrain cardboard box (box underside is slightly worn but correctly marked with the matching serial number on the bottom), paperwork, the yellow hang tag, and the factory sight adjustment tool.
The overall condition is excellent, showing minimal signs of handling or use. The Royal Blue finish is deep and brilliant. Note that the left side plate has smeared oil around the Rampant Colt stamp, which are not marks or scratches. The mechanics are tight, the action is smooth, and the revolver is fully functional. An outstanding addition to any advanced Colt "snake gun" collection.
