This specific specimen is of the highest rarity, being one of only 25 units produced with a 3-inch barrel and factory nickel finish.
This compact single-action revolver features the signature 3-inch barrel and is distinguished by the absence of an ejector rod, a hallmark of the specialized "Sheriff's Model" configuration. The revolver boasts a brilliant factory Nickel Finish across the entire frame, barrel, and cylinder. It is elegantly fitted with smooth walnut grips that provide a warm, traditional contrast to the mirror-like nickel plating. This Colt Single Action Army Sheriffs Model is absolutely Beautiful and Rare. The bore is in good shape, and the nickel finish remains remarkably bright. Cosmetically a small dent on the front right of the frame and a small scratch on the right side of the frame can be seen. As for the action it is mechanically perfect, offering the crisp timing and secure lockup that defined Colt's legendary Single Action Army line.
