Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this HOLY GRAIL High Grade Pre-War 1910 Winchester Model 90 slide-action rifle chambered in .22 Short. This museum-quality firearm has been transformed into a masterpiece by the legendary Winchester Factory Master Engraver Nick Kusmit. True to his signature style, the work is subtly signed "NK" on the right side of the receiver, hidden within the intricate background of the engraving. The receiver features exquisite game scenes, including a rabbit and a squirrel, surrounded by fine scrollwork and ornamental borders.
The artistry continues with the Deluxe Hand-Carved "XXX" Walnut furniture. The stock is crafted from exhibition-grade XXX walnut and features a Winchester grip cap, Type D checkering, and highly detailed oak leaf carving. The forearm is executed in the "Expert" style with matching Pattern D checkering and oak leaf embellishments. This rifle represents a rare collaboration of factory-level engraving and deluxe woodcraft on one of Winchester’s most beloved rimfire designs.
The overall condition of this Model 90 is Excellent, appearing near-new since the custom finish was completed. It shows only the faintest evidence of handling and very light, scattered specs of surface freckling that do not detract from its stunning presentation.
