Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this highly collectible Mauser Model 1896 "Red Nine" Broomhandle semi-automatic pistol, chambered in the rare 9MM. Manufactured circa 1916-1918, the Red Nine is one of the most historically significant variations of the C96, produced for the German military during WWI and identified by the large, red-filled "9" marking on the grips.
This iconic military pistol features a tangent rear sight and is confirmed to have all matching external numbers. It features the distinctive branded and red-filled "9" markings on the grips. The complete set includes the hardwood shoulder stock and the original brown leather harness.
The overall condition is Fine, retaining its original blue finish & vibrant nitre blue parts. The pistol shows minor handling edge wear but overall is exceptional and very high condition. The bore is good and shows light wear. Mechanically excellent. A spectacular, complete, and fully functional WWI military artifact.
