Atlas Collectible Firearms is deeply honored to present a museum-grade pre-war 1931 Colt Camp Perry Model single-shot target pistol chambered in .22 Long Rifle with its classic 8-inch barrel. Built on Colt's legendary Officer’s Model frame layout with a unique crane-pivoting barrel design, this Holy Grail piece of target shooting history represents one of the finest known surviving examples of the model ever offered. Adding historical and collector significance is the desirable low serial number 1936, making it a pinnacle acquisition for serious pre-war Colt investors.
This magnificent single-shot target pistol features fine target sights, crisp original rollmarks including "CAMP PERRY MODEL" along the faux cylinder sides, and period-correct genuine Colt elephant ivory grips complete with iconic pre-war silver Rampant Colt medallions. While no Colt factory archive letter is included to document the grips, they are entirely period-correct for this model year, fit the frame flawlessly, and exhibit a gorgeous natural aging patination. The presentation package comes beautifully displayed in a custom deluxe wooden display case with a glass viewing lid and a rich red velvet interior that perfectly showcases and protects this historic target handgun.
Preserved in near-perfect, all-original museum condition, this specimen shows virtually no evidence of use or handling, remaining in pristine, collector-grade order throughout. Mechanically, the action operates with vault-tight lockup and factory-smooth precision, while the 8-inch barrel preserves a mirror-bright bore with razor-sharp target rifling lines.
