Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this DELUXE PRESENTATION SET of early 1st Generation Colt Single Action Army (SAA) and Bisley Model revolvers chambered in .32-20 Winchester. This stunning cased pair represents a collaboration of master custom artistry, making it a true centerpiece for any advanced firearm collection. The SAA was made in 1904 and the Bisley in 1911.
Both revolvers feature the 4 3/4-inch barrel and stunning custom embellishments, including a Charcoal Blued finish with vibrant Fire Blue Accents and 24K Gold Inlay bands. Both pistols are fully hand-engraved with beautiful scrollwork. The set is fitted with highly valuable, early Elephant Ivory grips featuring scrimshaw Bald Eagle on one side, a Grizzly Bear on the other done by the world-renowned artist Trudy Don'Angelo with both being signed. The set comes in a custom wooden display case with two keys.
The revolvers show signs of professional restoration, most likely done decades ago when the engraving and ivory were installed. Cosmetically, they are very fine. Mechanically, the Bisley's action works well, though the bore has light pitting. The SAA has a dark and pitted bore, and the hammer is missing the third click. Despite these mechanical flaws, the artistic merit and rarity of this cased, master-scrimshawed set are immense. An outstanding addition to any advanced collection.
