The provenance of this investment-grade firearm is further solidified by a factory-engraved backstrap inscribed "Major General Walter G. Johnson" and beautifully filled with gold leaf. This revolver arrives in its original factory Colt wood presentation case with a vibrant red velvet-lined interior. Accompanying the firearm is a Colt Archive Letter documenting its December 22, 1967, shipment directly to Major General Johnson at the Adjutant General's office in Jackson, Mississippi.
