Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this true HOLY GRAIL Serial #44 AMT Auto Mag Model 180 semi-automatic pistol, chambered in the powerful .44 Auto Mag Pistol (.44 AMP) cartridge. This pistol is a highly significant piece of firearms history, a complex and advanced design that was popularized by film. This example is an extremely low production commemorative.
This imposing pistol features the long 6.5-inch barrel with its distinctive vent rib and a corrosion-resistant Stainless Steel finish. This example is a Harry Sanford Commemorative, manufactured in 1999/2000 as one of only 300 built (of a planned 1,000). The side of the barrel is roll-marked "Harry W. Sanford Pioneer of Stainless Steel Firearms." It features beautiful wood grips. The pistol includes a scarce factory hardwood presentation case and an extra magazine.
The overall condition is Excellent, with the pistol showing minor handling from display but retains a superb finish. The bore is excellent, and the mechanically complex action is sound. A rare opportunity to acquire a complete, cased example of a legendary, high-power automatic pistol with unique provenance.
