Atlas Collectible Firearms is thrilled to present this historic factory special ordered Shiloh Sharps Model 1874 Saddle Rifle. Manufactured in 2004, this elite single-shot rifle is chambered in the powerful .45-70 Govt cartridge and features a heavy 28-inch half-octagon barrel. This beautifully crafted rifle serves as a pinnacle example of legendary nineteenth-century buffalo gun architecture.
This superb firearm showcases a premium blued barrel finish balanced by a vibrant color case hardened receiver, lever, hammer, tangs, and buttplate. The entire assembly is beautifully complemented by a set of fine fire-blued screws and double set triggers. The rifle is elegantly stocked in presentation-grade walnut with a straight-hand cheekpiece stock and an ebony-tipped Schnabel forend.
Included with this rifle are two Buffalo Arms Co. Dave Crossno .22 LR barrel liner conversion sleeves (24" and 23.75") with protective cases, along with the original factory build sheets and correspondence letters. The rifle remains in very good plus to excellent condition, retaining roughly 99% finish with only two small scrape marks on the barrel and minor loading tray brass fouling. This rare configuration offers immense investment value.
