Atlas Collectible Firearms is exceptionally privileged to offer an extraordinary centerpiece of American lever-action heritage: a rare 2014 manufactured Henry Original 1860 1st Edition rifle. Chambered in .44-40 with a 24-inch octagon barrel, this limited-production model is numbered 1 of only 1000 produced, paying homage to B. Tyler Henry's legendary 19th-century design.
This masterwork features a factory hand-engraved solid brass frame adorned with classic scroll patterns. The receiver is paired with a deluxe factory polished royal blue finish on the octagon barrel and integrated tube magazine. Outfitting the rifle is a deluxe high-grade triple-X walnut buttstock with a brass crescent buttplate, a folding rear ladder sight, and serial number BTH00670 on the lower tang.
Based on our photographic inspection, this standalone rifle is presented as shown. The firearm remains in very good overall condition, retaining most of its original finish with light wear, minor oxidation, and a rich, natural patina on the brass receiver. The bore is bright with crisp rifling and mechanics are excellent, making this scarce 1 of 1000 edition a remarkable investment asset.
