This iconic semi-automatic is chambered in the powerful 7.63mm Mauser caliber and features a 5.5-inch barrel with a 1000-meter tangent rear sight. As an early "slab-sided" model, this specimen represents the pinnacle of pre-war German engineering and military innovation.
This Mauser retains its original military blue finish and showcases high-polish niter blue and straw colors on the small parts. The frame features the desirable large ring hammer and early pattern safety, while the grip frame is fitted with original 24-groove walnut stocks. Incredible attention to detail is evident, with matching serial numbers found on the chamber, bolt, hammer housing, and internal components.
Accompanying this historic firearm is an original hardwood shoulder stock holster featuring a silver inscription shield. While the stock is numbered to a different closely serialized pistol, it remains an authentic period accessory. The pistol is in very fine condition, retaining 85% of its original finish with honest age patina and crisp mechanics. This is a premier investment for any serious student of military history.
