Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present The Rarest Remington Set EVER Made—the 2016 Remington Custom Shop “Bicentennial 200th Anniversary Deluxe" 3-Gun Collection. This is an unparalleled, historic, HIGHEST investment-grade suite of firearms, confirmed to be Serial Number #3 of only 4 sets ever produced. Most importantly, this specific example holds the provenance of being the only set ever sold to the public by the Remington Firearms Custom Shop commissioned via James D. Julia Auctions in 2016, confirming its unique accessibility to collectors.
The set's artistry is the work of FEGA Expert Master Engraver Jesse Kaufman (Remington Custom Shop Factory Engraver), whose level of detail transcends standard factory work. All three platforms feature a custom high polished Rust Blue finish, with the Model 1911 R1 showcasing stunning Nitre Blue accents on the smaller parts (Novak sights, controls & pins). The embellishment is extraordinary, utilizing an unbelievable amount of atleast 40–50 feet of hand-laid genuine 24K Gold Inlay within the master scrollwork, making this arguably the most complex and valuable Remington set ever offered.
The three firearms in this matching collection are the Model 870 Pump-Action Shotgun (12 GA, 28-inch barrel), the Model 700 Bolt-Action Rifle (.7mm Rem Mag, 24-inch barrel), and the Model 1911 R1 Semi-Auto Pistol (.45 ACP, 5-inch barrel). All three bear the matching consecutive serial number #3. Each piece features Deluxe Exhibition Grade Black Walnut wood with intricate F Grade Hand Fleur de Lis Checkering. The shotgun and rifle are finished with custom, hand-crafted genuine leather butt pads, enhancing their unique presentation.
The entire set is 110% Perfect, New Old Stock (NOS), and Unfired. It is housed in its spectacular factory deluxe three-gun leather-wrapped oak wood display case, complete with French fit interior, custom silver/chrome oiler, and a gorgeous set of three hand tools with genuine buffalo horn handles. This collection also includes a photocopy of the original Custom Shop Shipping Invoice/Packing List paperwork. This set represents an investment that is historically significant and impossible to upgrade or duplicate. An outstanding acquisition for any advanced collector of American firearms.
~ Back in 2016 this set originally sold for over $28,000 with BP/Fees at James D. Julia Auctions and is worth well over double that in todays market. If you were to have this set replicated today by a Custom Firearm Maker and a FEGA Expert Master Engraver you would have a minimum of $60,000 to $100,000 invested in the set with the Deluxe Exhibition Grade Custom Work & Engraving and would be a 3-5 year wait!!!
