Atlas Collectible Firearms is profoundly honored to present a true holy grail piece of Colt manufacturing history: an original 1993-manufactured Colt Single Action Army "Show Gun" chambered in .45 Long Colt. Retained directly in the Colt Manufacturing Company's private archive collection in Hartford, Connecticut, as a factory sample and display piece, this extraordinary 4-3/4-inch single-action revolver features an exceedingly rare factory-extended grip frame, a 6-shot fluted cylinder, a vivid color case-hardened frame, and a deep, mirror-like factory Royal Blue finish across the barrel, cylinder, and backstrap assembly. Carrying serial number SA95843 cleanly stamped on the frame base, this museum-tier masterpiece remained in Colt's official vault until October 16, 2008, when it was released during the famous Greg Martin Auctions liquidation sale of select Colt Factory Archives collection items.

The single-action revolver is fitted with a stunning set of factory-crafted, one-piece elephant ivory grips featuring delicate hand-checkered fleur-de-lis motifs integrated into the extended grip profile (most likely executed by Colt Master Ivory-smith Dan Chesiak or Paul Persinger). The revolver arrives presented in a custom glass-top wooden presentation display case with a fitted red velvet interior. Included with the offering is a official photo copy of the Colt Archive letter signed by Archivist Beverly Jean Haynes, authenticating its 1993 manufacture, Royal Blue and case-hardened finish, extended grip frame, fleur-de-lis checkered ivory grips, and its historical status as a factory sample display piece shipped directly to Greg Martin Auctions.

The overall cosmetic condition of this legendary factory sample remains in exceptionally fine collector-grade order, remaining completely unfired. The original Royal Blue finish retains full, brilliant coverage alongside vibrant, swirling color case hardening, displaying only light, superficial handling marks on the cylinder and rear grip backstrap from factory exhibition. Mechanically, the hand-fitted Custom Shop action cycles with smooth four-click timing and vault-tight lockup, while the 4-3/4-inch barrel preserves a mirror-bright, pristine bore with sharp, razor-clean rifling throughout.
