Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this magnificent 1985 Colt Custom Shop Single Action Army (SAA) Theodore Roosevelt Commemorative Deluxe Hand Engraved revolver, chambered in the iconic “Frontier Six Shooter” caliber .44-40 WCF. Issued in 1985, this revolver honors the iconic American President, Rough Rider, and avid conservationist. This example is SN# 65 of only around 1000 ever made.
This highly collectible revolver features the traditional 7.5-inch barrel (Artillery length). The revovler features factory deluxe Royal Blue on the barrel/cylinder and Vivid Case Color Hardening on the frame. The top of the back grip strap is gold auroplated with Theodore Roosevelt's "TR" monogram. The stocks are factory genuine elephant ivory and is presented in a custom wooden display case.
This Colt SAA revolver is in pristine collector grade condition showing minimal if any signs of handling and remains consumer unfired. The engraving (factory C grade) is crisp, and the gold inlay is fully intact. The single-action mechanism is mechanically excellent. An outstanding addition for any collector of Colt or historical American commemoratives.
