Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present the Holy Grail of modern Colt Single Action Army collecting: a 1991 Colt Custom Shop SAA in .45 Long Colt with a 7.5-inch barrel that is Serial Number LEB-1 (Lawrence E. Bailey - 1). This is a documented 1-of-1 special ordered model, commissioned for Mr. Lawrence E. Bailey, making it an irreplaceable piece of Colt Custom Shop history.
This museum-quality revolver features Type "B" Factory Master Engraving and is accented with spectacular 24K Gold Inlaid Bands. The engravers name is not noted on the letter but in our expert opinion we believe this one was done by Colt's Master Engraver Jan Gwinnell. The finish is the magnificent Factory "Mirror Brite" Royal Blue on the barrel/cylinder and a high-contrast Case Color Hardened (CCH) frame. It is fitted with highly desirable Factory Screwless One-Piece Genuine Ivory Grips that also feature engraving accents.
The offering is 100% Complete & NOS (New Old Stock). It includes the original factory wooden presentation case with an engraved dedication plaque, the original Colt Custom Shop white outer box with the matching LEB-1 label detailing all features (Engraving, Gold Inlay, Ivory Stocks), and all factory paperwork.
