Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this extraordinary 1968 Belgian Browning Superposed over/under shotgun in the Diana Grade “V”. This is a highly significant and desirable collector piece, Factory Master Engraved & Double Signed “J. Lewanczyk” on both sides of the receiver by Jules Lewanczyk. Diana Grade shotguns represent the highest level of artistry and craftsmanship from the golden era of Belgian Browning production.

This shotgun is chambered in 12 Gauge and features the rare 26 3/8 inch barrels with a ventilated rib. It retains the factory Coin finish on the receiver, showcasing Lewanczyk's detailed game scene and scrollwork, and features a gold-plated trigger. The stocks are made from highly figured, deluxe checkered walnut—some of the nicest figured wood we've ever seen on a Superposed and is equipped with the extremly rare & desirable Round Knob butt stock. Chambers marked "2 3/4", fixed chokes marked **$/**$(Skeet/Skeet), and a length of pull of 14 and 3/8 inches.

The overall condition is collector grade, showing some handling mark & use. The wood is excellent and original, though it shows some minor marks and dings and the clear coat is starting spider web. The coin finish on the receiver shows a few small specs of old corrosion or freckling on the right & left rear, but nothing major. The mechanics are tight and flawless. An outstanding addition to any advanced collection of high-grade Belgian shotguns.
