This fully customized National Match Grade pistol features a early Commercial Colt Government Model 1911 slide paired with a equally early Essex marked frame. This rare specimen has been elevated into a unique work of art through extensive hand engraving by FEGA Certified Master Engraver Terry Theis.
This full-sized pistol features a Colt MKIV Series 70 marked 5-inch barrel and boasts a striking aesthetic pairing a deep blued finish with comprehensive coverage of flowing floral scrollwork. The slide is masterfully engraved with the "GOVERNMENT MODEL COLT AUTOMATIC CALIBER 45" markings preserved within an elegant border. The artist's legacy is permanently recorded with "TTHEIS ENGR." signed on the bottom of the magazine well. The presentation of this gun is further elevated by a set of stunning checkered ivory-colored Genuine Buffalo Bone grips that provide a brilliant contrast to the masterfully engraved blued steel.
