Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this extraordinary 1981 Colt Python revolver, masterfully hand-engraved and signed by former Colt Factory Engraver, Kelly Laster. This masterpiece has been transformed with full-coverage custom work, making it a unique and highly desirable "snake gun" for the advanced collector.
This revolver features the desirable 4-inch vent-rib barrel and a unique custom Antique French Gray finish which provides an aged but refined, satin-silver brushed look. This is brilliantly accented by a vibrant Fire Blue trigger and screws. The entire surface is covered in Laster’s iconic, highly detailed Cattle Brand Style Engraving. His signature brand, "KWL" (Kelly Wayne Laster), is clearly marked on the left side of the barrel.
It is fitted with custom genuine Buffalo Horn Grips showing beautiful Ebony and Creme colored grains. The firearm is housed in a custom deluxe glass-top display case. The overall condition is very fine collector grade, showing no signs of handling or use since the extensive engraving work was completed. The mechanics are tight and excellent. An outstanding, investment-grade piece of Colt history bearing the mark of a recognized master engraver.
