Atlas Collectible Firearms is immensely proud to showcase this TRUE HOLY GRAIL Browning Superposed Continental Express "Long-Tang" Over & Under Shotgun / Rifle, a masterpiece of Belgian FN Custom Shop engineering. This versatile two-barrel set includes a 20 gauge shotgun barrel measuring 26-inches long and a rare numbers matching express rifle barrel chambered in the powerful .30-06 Springfield measuring 24-inches. Representing a pinnacle of the Centennial grade series, this multi-barrel set offers a unique opportunity for the discerning collector.
The firearm is finished in a high-polish deep blue with a receiver that features exquisite factory hand engraving by the world renowned Belgian Browning FN Factory Master Engraver Baudouin Vaesen and is signed on the left side of the bottom rear of receiver "B. VAESEN". The shotgun barrel is marked with one star on the top and two stars on the bottom, indicating Full -over- Improved Modified chokes respectively. The factory straight grip "AAA" walnut stock is hand carved with deep checkering and a rich oil finish that highlights the stunning wood grain found throughout the set.
This magnificent ensemble comes in the factory Browning Superposed early box with the outer serialized label being heavily worn in some areas. The shotgun remains in very fine collector condition showing limited use, if any and only the faintest of scattered storage wear from long term storage. This is a holy grail item for Browning enthusiasts, offering immense investment value and a rare combination of Belgian artistry and functional versatility.
