The Python Elite was produced during a brief, sought-after period, representing the absolute final iteration of the original Python line. These guns were hand-fitted by Colt's Custom Shop master gunsmiths, ensuring the classic, smooth Python action.
This rare revolver features the highly desirable 4-inch length and the extremely rare factory deep Royal Blue finish. The barrel is specially marked "PYTHON ELITE." It is fitted with beautiful factory laminate wood combat-style walnut grips with Colt medallions. This is a complete set, including the original factory blue hard case (with matching end label), factory hang tag, and original paperwork.
The overall condition of this Python Elite is pristine & like-new. The gun may have been fired once or twice and has been exceptionally well maintained, preserving the deep, mirror-like Royal Blue finish beautifully. The bore is clean and bright. The action is mechanically tight, incredibly smooth, and flawless, confirming its Custom Shop heritage.
