This specific specimen is part of a limited production run and offers a unique dual-caliber capability, making it a standout addition to any serious Colt collection.
This magnificent single-action revolver features a brilliant, high-polish factory Nickel Finish across the frame, barrel, and both cylinders. This is a complete two-cylinder set, featuring one cylinder chambered in .44 S&W Special and a second cylinder chambered in .44-40 Winchester. The revolver is fitted with beautiful smooth factory walnut grips that provide a classic and elegant contrast to the mirror-like nickel plating. The set is housed in a premium, glass-topped wood factory display case with a plush interior, perfectly preserving and showcasing this rare firearm.
The overall condition of this Colt Single Action Army Sheriff's Model is Pristine Consumer Unfired condition showing minimal signs of handling. Cosmetic notes include a small scratch on the right side of the frame and light spec of freckling visible on the one cylinder. Despite these minor signs of age, the nickel remains bright. An outstanding, rare, and complete collector's set.
