This 24-inch barrel rifle has been transformed into a museum-quality work of art with a Custom Polished Blued finish and elegant Gold-plated accents on the trigger and magazine tube cap. The receiver features exquisite full-coverage scrollwork and masterfully sculpted 24k Solid Gold Inlays depicting highly detailed squirrel game scenes on both sides of the receiver.
This extraordinary embellishment was performed by the world-renowned Master Engraver and Master Knife Maker Jim Sornberger, who has prominently signed the bottom of the receiver "J. Sornberger". The artistry extends to the barrel and magazine tube bands with deep-relief floral engraving and gold wire inlays. This rifle is fitted with a beautiful smooth high-grade walnut stock and a matching grooved pump forend, maintaining the classic silhouette of Winchester's most famous rimfire pump rifle.
