Atlas Collectible Firearms is proud to present this extraordinary 1901 Colt Single Action Army (SAA) revolver, chambered in the classic .44-40 WCF (Colt Frontier Six Shooter). Dating to the First Generation, this pistol has been professionally upgraded with stunning embellishment by Master Engraver Virgil Graham (signed V. Graham).
This iconic revolver features the civilian-favored 4.75-inch barrel. It boasts a brilliant, full Silver Plated finish beautifully accented by vivid fire blued screws. The entire pistol exhibits high-coverage Class C American scroll engraving over a punch-dot background. It is fitted with carved ivory stocks featuring Colt silver medallions and Texas stars. The pistol is housed in a modern walnut Colt display case.
The overall condition is Excellent with the gun retaining nearly all of the beautiful silver finish, showing only minor handling marks. The bore is pitted but has well-defined rifling (50-60%). The single-action mechanism retains all four Colt clicks and is mechanically excellent. An outstanding, signed, custom Pre-War SAA from the Robert C. Renneberg Collection.
