One of a limited edition of only 1,000 units commissioned through the Winchester Custom Shop, this specific specimen bears the incredible, low-digit serial number UG 18. This investment-grade masterpiece represents the absolute zenith of Custom Shop craftsmanship, featuring components that were hand-selected for match-grade accuracy and meticulously hand-fitted to ensure a level of performance that is second to none.
This breathtaking rifle is a canvas for museum-quality artistry, featuring full-coverage factory master engraving by the world-renowned Bottega C. Giovanelli. The receiver, tang, floor plate, and trigger guard are adorned with exquisite leaf scroll motifs, including a detailed ram’s head on the floor plate, with the engraver’s signature clearly visible on the top left rear of the receiver. The embellishments are further elevated by extensive 24k gold inlays, including the "Winchester Trade Mark" roll mark, the serial number, muzzle bands, and the "1 of 1,000" designation on the barrel. The rifle is stocked in a spectacular piece of Exhibition Grade highly-figured walnut with a traditional Schnabel forend and fine-line checkering that remains factory-crisp.
