This is a very rare factory special ordered John Jovino Company shipped single action revolver! The visual profile of this SAA is breathtaking, featuring a vibrant factory color case-hardened frame that displays deep blues, purples, and straws. The barrel, cylinder, and grip frame retain their original deep factory blued finish. This specimen is especially rare, being 1 of only 227 units ever produced with factory smooth walnut wood stocks in this configuration. Every roll-mark remains factory-sharp, including the one-line barrel address, the "COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45" nomenclature, and the two-line patent dates on the frame. This Colt is absolutely Breathtaking, presenting in extremely high collector condition at 98% plus. It shows only minor superficial handling marks and may have been fired once or twice, if that. The mechanical action is crisp with the traditional four clicks, and the bore is in factory-perfect condition.
